I had a flex-pipe leak in my car (checked/confirmed by my usual mechanic shop). So, I went to Midas (the muffler 'specialists'). They quoted me $180 for the job. So I said go for it... In the process, they cracked my head-pipe in two locations. They told me they "welded it the best they could". Well, the leak I went in with is now twice as bad. So basically, I just paid $180 for a WORSE LEAK! Thanks, Midas. Not a good experience. To make things worse, the mechanics are very stand-offish. Not going back.
